Nutshell Film Reviews

Seven Psychopaths

I wasn’t a big fan of In Bruges (by the same person) so had my doubts about this, but thankfully my doubts were proven very wrong.  This is very clever and well made – a bit like a film in a film, with Colin Farrell a struggling script writer penning a film with the same title.  Sam Rockwell is his not very helpful mate with a secret and Walken is as always great as another friend along for the ride.  It has some great scenes and is very funny (in a dark way) in places. This has cult classic written all over it.

Truffle Shuffler: 4/5

Ideas for Team Building Activities:

The name alone is intriguing but it is the ‘story within a story’ technique that sparked our interest. It adds surprise value and complexity – which is why we leapt at the chance to do it when designing our Forensic Thriller events! This film also demonstrates how to get the right balance between humour and darkness. Our team will guide you through dark event with a light, engaging touch. Let us know you liked the ‘mood’ of this film and we will recommend the best version of our thriller event for you.

Great review. We are really inspired by this new approach to team building. It is increasingly rare to see a company bring a new dimension to corporate events, but this is exactly what is happening here. We look forward to working together in the near future.
